We are in the PEOPLE business. PEOPLE are the foundation of everything we do and the key to success in our highly personalized corporate foodservice and workplace hospitality industries.
As a result, our industries were impacted significantly by the events of 2020. Our PEOPLE experienced major changes and have overcome challenges to their work environment, business procedures, operational processes and even their well-being.
Reaffirming diverse human capital as our most essential resource - our PEOPLE have been flexible, adaptable, and fearless during this time - coming together while still apart. As a result, PEOPLE will be at the heart of our recovery - recharging our industry.
With an emphasis on leaders, employees, and customers, SHFM focuses the spotlight on PEOPLE: The Human Side of Hospitality at this year’s Critical Issues Conference.

This year’s CIC Advisory Group has added a charitable component to the conference by selecting an organization to receive a collective donation from SHFM. When you register for CIC, please consider donating to a group that deals in critical issues on a daily basis - World Central Kitchen (WCK). WCK uses the power of food to heal communities and strengthen economies through times of crisis and beyond. Founded by José Andrés and his wife Patricia, in the last ten years WCK has fed hungry people on five continents in times of disaster. As we focus on PEOPLE during this year’s CIC, we hope you will help World Central Kitchen to do the same.

Giving is Rewarding! Every $10 donation = 1 raffle entry
All WCK donations made via the CIC registration portal through 12 noon ET on April 28, 2021, will be automatically entered for a chance to win exciting raffle prizes including appliances, gift cards and more.  Winners will be chosen at random and can only win once.

The raffles prizes were generously donated by these CIC sponsors:
